Following the first day of Gangotsav, the first event will be the ‘Sankalp Divas’, for this event the over 1 lakh students led by girls from various universities and schools will be gathered followed by taking the pledge to rejuvenate, recreate, and restoring the natural beauty of the river Ganga to keep its look as mesmerizing as possible with the chief guest and VIPs coming for attending Gangotsav festive. Once this Sankalp event will be going on time, the whole event will be made live in schools and universities so that they may also become a part of it. And they may also take the Sankalp of keeping the Ganga clean and mesmerizing. The main purpose of performing this event will be to display the importance of the Ganga and its tributaries (River) along with women's empowerment.
To make Mother Ganga clean and pure, showing utmost determination towards Mother Ganga, we all Indians, irrespective of religion, caste, and gender, on the very holy occasion of Ganga Jayanti, Ganga Dham Sambalpur (District Saran) near Buddha Ghat Patna (Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi Ji in Bihar) Very special guests, domestic and foreign along with the students and all the tourists present there will be taking a pledge that we will dedicate our body and mind to Mother Ganga according to our power to make Maa Ganga clean, clear and unobstructed flow under every circumstance. It is believed that wherever any human civilization has developed in the world since ancient times, it has happened on the banks of the river. Therefore, this point indicates how big the contribution of rivers has been in the development of human civilization. We cannot even imagine human civilization without rivers or if you say clean human life. Whether it is agriculture or means of transport or for living, all those resources have been supplied by rivers since time immemorial.
But even in today's modern era, rivers are the basic basis of the life of the people living in a very large area. It is said that every invention has both advantages and disadvantages, as the result of the invention of factories and mainly the contaminants and contaminated water coming out of factories located on the banks of the river, cleanliness of rivers and large flow of streams. They are causing damage on a large scale, and the impact of which ranges from the melting of glaciers to the blockage of the flow of rivers and the very low water level or drought in the rivers.
If rivers continue to be neglected like this, then rivers will also remain the only subject to be read and taught in the pages of history and will be the only subject of research for our coming generations like dinosaurs. But it is not that only rivers will become extinct, along with these two rivers, human civilization will also start to decline and what should be said, till such a situation comes, a large part of human civilization will also become extinct as on the banks of Saraswati River that has been developed with the civilizations of that period. No matter who it is, the importance of rivers has been paramount for human civilization and will remain so - save the river, save the country.
For the rejuvenation of rivers, not only in the country but also in foreign countries, much research work has been going on in the past, for which government and non-government organizations are trying to implement the work according to their power. Especially abroad, whether it is France, Germany, Britain in Europe, or Singapore in Asia, all these countries have done commendable work on the restoration of their rivers. Always in our country, from time to time, a lot of work was done by the then governments of that time for the steps of the rivers, but we have not got success as expected, due to which one of the main reasons is the awareness of the people about the rivers are considered to be lacking.
We cannot keep the responsibility of keeping the rivers clean only to the government, for this, all of us citizens will need to be striving to do our duty in the Save the River, Save the Country campaign. During the tenure of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi JI, under Namami Gange, unprecedented success has been achieved in making Maa Ganga clean, pure, and unobstructed stream, a living example of which is the cleanliness of the ghats of Banaras and the clean and unobstructed flow of Maa Ganga's water is.
In our country, many non-government organizations are trying to make rivers clean and one of those organizations is the "Rashtra Swabhiman" organization, through which a lot of research work has been done on rivers to increase awareness about rivers among citizens all over the country. In the past, programs have been organized in different areas of the state and at present too many programs are being organized. In the future, in the program related to Gangotsav awareness to be held in Ganga Dham in the holy land of Bihar next year, River Rejuvenation Summit is being organized under Save River Desh Bachao with IDPDS Research Wing Pvt Ltd. The main objective of this River Rejuvenation Summit is the cleanliness, purity, and uninterrupted flow of Maa Ganga. The former mother Ganga is a woman and we believe this in our Sanatani tradition, so keeping in mind the empowerment of women, a resolution will be taken in the presence of a large number of girls (students) / women, whose purpose is the importance of the river, our life, and environment and how much for the earth. It is necessary to explain this.
A documentary will also be shown here, in which the current status of rivers, future conditions, and in the event of extinction of rivers, it will be important to show the impact of human civilization, earth's environment, and all the measures being taken by the institutions abroad to save it. The future of any country is in the hands of the youth, so considering this as the basic thing, the students present there will be motivated to participate in the program of students' resolution day in different parts of the country by broadcasting. We IDPDS Research Wins Pvt. Ltd. and our partners will ensure that this work is done. There will be a plan to get the resolution of about lakhs of students in Ganga Dham on the day of Sankalp Diwas. It is said that when children do some good work, their parents are very proud and parents also play their part in that work, which has a positive effect not only on that area but on the whole world during that period obviously falls.
In Sankalp Diwas, a resolution will be taken that how we can make Mother Ganga the effect of a clean, pure, and unobstructed stream in any condition. Events going to be a part of the Sankalp Diwas in Gangotsav, 2023 are as follows:
- Lighting the lamp with a torch by chanting, after which this Gangotsav will be inaugurated. There will a complete plan to get this work to be done by the Prime Minister.
- The pledge for Sankalp Diwas will be taken by the participation and all the tourist students along with the Honorable Prime Minister in the presence of very special guests.
- The importance of Ganga Bachao Abhiyan / Kalp Diwas will be highlighted by the Honorable Prime Minister in his motivational words will be prominent.
- The importance of Ganga will also be highlighted and explained by other guests in addition to the importance of Sankalp Diwas.
- Folk singing and traditional dance will be organized which will be dedicated to Mother Ganga.
- On the day of Sankalp Diwas, students will be represented in a special costume.
- The biggest feature of this program will be that the entire program will be conducted by women, which will be an effort toward women's empowerment.
- For Sankalp Diwas, IDPDS Research Bank Private Limited has already started contacting schools, colleges, and colleges and telling them about Sankalp Diwas.
Apart from these programs, the Sankalp will be taken for Women Empowerment along with promoting 6-8 lakhs of girls. The Sankalp will be taken by students as they are the future of India and the result of this Sankalp will be that the parents being the guardians of their child will also follow them. This event has another importance as well as it will spread awareness among the citizens of India regarding the Governmental Project named, Namami Gange so that they will preferably respect the amount being spent by them for the project and it will help in the proper implementation of the project as well.
All the students who have been taking part or indulged in Ganga cleaning activities will be rewarded by the chief guests and VIPs for their initiative towards Clean Gange or Nmami Gange. These students will be arriving in a certain dress code i.e. Indian Style for highlighting the traditional and colorful cultures of India.
