Taking the pledge to Rejuvenate and recreate the Ganga as Swachh and Nirmal on Gongotsav, 2023 

The word Gangotsav derived from the name of pious river Ganga. Ganga Utsav=Gangotsav, means a celebration nearby Ganga. The river Ganga flows in Five states Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal. And people from these five states having different religious and cultural beliefs respect Ganga as a river that blesses them prosperity not only in mythological means, but also in physical means. Ganga is blissful as it provides drinking and irrigation water, fertile land and making it easy for people to live with prosperity. 

Gangotsav will be one of the religious and holy festivals that will be celebrated within the territorial boundary of India. On this festival, the people of India celebrate this festival to enrich, fulfill and enlighten it’s bestowed upon humankind for ages. The reason for dedicating a day to Ganga will be that river Ganga has been a part of our agriculture, economy, and many more for ages. The water provided by Ganga is still serving the people and mankind of India.  

It will be a period of various cultural events and festivals that need to be enjoyed by the people or everyone who truly acknowledges or dedicated feelings of Maa Ganga, simply by embracing the true and mesmerizing natural beauty of the river flowing from its rich banks.

The Sankalp divas will be marked as its beginning point as the people taking part directly or indirectly will be taking the pledge to rejuvenate, restore, and recreate the beauty of Maa Gange. 
2. Another benefit that the Government will be attaining is that the awareness regarding their projects related to the sacred River Gange i.e. Nmami Gange for keeping the Ganga Water to be mesmerizing will increase among the people of India.
3. The major benefit of organizing this event will be women's empowerment and increasing tourism in the States and cities from which the river Ganga flows. 
4. Increasing the tourism or love of people towards traveling will surely give benefit the hotels, shops, and popular outlets within the city.
